Work with Purpose Canadian Rockies Public Schools (CRPS) Transportation is seeking responsible, safety-focused Spare School Bus Drivers to cover daily routes and trips on an as‑needed basis. Spare drivers provide essential coverage when full‑time drivers are unavailable and ensure we can facilitate school field trips and community charters. This flexible, on‑call position is ideal for part‑time job seekers, retirees, or anyone looking to make a positive impact in our community.
A Supportive Environment Our Transportation facility is conveniently located in Canmore and provides full facilities to our drivers. Our onsite team provides ongoing safety training and support to ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be confident to succeed in your duties.
Key Responsibilities & Schedule Provide on‑call availability for morning and/or afternoon weekday routes.
Potential chance for year‑round daytime, evening and weekend trips.
Ensure student safety and maintain a positive, respectful environment on the bus.
Qualifications Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check (current within 3 months) required before starting in this position.
