Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi‑unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 8 Tim Hortons restaurants across HRM. We are looking for someone who has at least 1–3 years of Tim Hortons experience and knowledge of the quick‑service industry, and who will support the General Manager and Owner in the day‑to‑day operations of our fast‑paced business.

What you’ll do

Support restaurants with daily operations.

Pick up daily deposits from each restaurant and drop them off at a local bank.

Transfer product, coin, equipment, etc. within restaurants when needed (must be able to lift 20–30 lb boxes).

Deliver paperwork and supplies to and from restaurants and head office.

Help support restaurants and serve guests when restaurants are short staff, motivating the team to meet speed‑of‑service goals.

Complete daily deposits and support restaurants with cash‑handling procedures.

Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise.

Assist with calibrations and cleaning of major equipment, and replace broken equipment.

Assist with covering shifts and/or transporting team members from one restaurant to another.

Complete restaurant self‑audits and help prepare the restaurants for inspections.

Assist in serving guests where necessary and respond to special guest requests in a friendly manner.

Communicate comfortably with Restaurant Manager and Supervisors.

Help train recent team members, rotating between restaurants to give support on the floor.





Coach and mentor the team when needed.

Schedule
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7 am–3 pm.

OFF Tuesday and Wednesday (we are flexible with changing your days off but weekends are required).

Requirements

Driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.

Legally allowed to work in Canada.

Team player.

Tim Hortons experience.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong multi‑tasking skills.

Must be able to lift 20–30 lb boxes.

A minimum of 2 years experience in the food industry.
