Become part of the facilities team at Northern Lights College as a Campus Safety and Facilities qualified, dedicated to securing and maintaining campus buildings. Monday to Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm await you.

This role focuses on facilitating authorized access and ensuring the safety of college properties. You’ll engage with the campus community, monitor surroundings, and handle minor maintenance needs effectively. Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution abilities is vital for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate authorized access to campus facilities
• Conduct regular patrols and monitoring
• Provide necessary information to the public
• Engage in minor maintenance tasks and machinery operation
• Employ tact in conflict resolution and communications

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and relevant security training
• Valid BC security license and current First Aid certification
• Experience in general maintenance and ability to lift 50 lbs
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Preferred experience with front end loaders
