Responsibilities Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards of care.
Build trusted relationships with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team through continuous, effective communication.
Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making changes as required.
Complete and ensure that residents’ clinical assessments, care plans and documentation are accurate and up to date, and communicate changes as needed.
Teach, delegate and direct unregulated care providers, providing coaching and mentorship.
Deliver compassionate and empathetic customer service to residents, families and the team.
Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers (preferred).
Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long‑term care (asset).
Solid drive,

Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time‑management skills.
Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or willingness to obtain one.
