Scope of the Position
The Warehouse Associate supports overall warehouse operations with a primary focus on wire and cable cutting. This role is responsible for accurately cutting, spooling, packing, and preparing wire and cable orders for shipment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. A key function of this position includes operating machinery to spool and cut wire and cable of various sizes and weights to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Wrap, tie, and place material on reels.

Sort and place materials on racks.

Use and adjust machinery to measure lengths of wire to meet customer specifications.

Feed and thread wire and cable through machinery.

Complete pre‑start safety inspection before using any machinery or equipment.

Record count and length information on tags or boxes.

Carry out any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years experience working in a warehouse environment.

Perform basic mathematical calculations to complete assigned tasks.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Wire cutting experience is considered an asset.





Prior experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts is preferred; however, candidates must be willing to receive training on these machines.
