We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Northeastern Ontario. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating heavy machinery to support our production and delivery projects, contributing to our company's mission of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, farm tractor, dozers, loaders and safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with loading and unloading materials for delivery.
Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.
Support other operational tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating heavy machinery including dozers,
loaders, backhoes, and excavators.
Solid mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment.
Valid commercial driver’s license is preferred.
Knowledge of safety standards in construction.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
