Duties
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and comfort
Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication-related activities diligently
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging setting
Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a secure, sanitary living space for residents and staff




Support residents with mobility aids and transfers, promoting safety during movement within the facility or home setting
Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior promptly to the healthcare team for appropriate intervention

Qualifications
Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or providing home care is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care expertise
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Solid caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
Certification as a Continuing Care Aide or equivalent is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
