Duties
Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under supervision
Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all areas are tidy and stocked
Help with food prep activities such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients as directed
Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper sanitation practices are upheld
Dispose of waste properly and maintain recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations




Support overall kitchen operations by maintaining a clean workspace and assisting team members as needed

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of basic cooking, food handling, and safety procedures within the food industry
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
Valuable communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
