We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House - Pastry Counter/POS Attendant to join our team. Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections at the pastry counter
Prepare and display pastries, ensuring freshness and visual appeal
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders efficiently and accurately
Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and change giving with precision
Upsell bakery items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pastry counter area in compliance with food safety standards
Manage inventory levels of pastries and supplies, restocking as needed




Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and dietary considerations
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to proper food handling procedures
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not required
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Basic knowledge of food industry standards and serving protocols
