PooranLaw is a social justice law firm focused on the promotion of a just society for people with disabilities and other marginalized groups through expert client advice and representation to people, families and not-for-profit human services organizations.

PooranLaw seeks a full time Law Clerk to support its estates practice at its North York location OR Windsor location.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and management of all estates files including affidavits of execution, probate applications, and general estate planning and administration documentation
Court filings
Document review and editing
Intakes, scheduling, and client relations functions
General file management, organizations and coordination
Other supports for lawyers and office as assigned

Required Skills & Knowledge:
Minimum one (1) year experience as a Law Clerk




Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of court filing procedures
Experience in estates law and litigation an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to pitch in and work closely within a team workplace

Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: In person - either in the Windsor or North York location.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
