We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with additional experience in heavy equipment operation, industrial machinery, and mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, trucks.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Repair or replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical systems
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
Utilize welding skills for metal repairs when necessary
Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs performed
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Assist with assembly or disassembly of vehicle parts as needed
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer concerns professionally
Skills
Proven experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic with experience preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including HVAC, electrical, and engine components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software
Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers

Pay: $38.46-$40.00 per hour
