Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is ideal for those passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on clients' quality of life. The position involves assisting seniors with daily activities and personal care needs. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or working with special needs populations is highly valued. The Home Care Worker plays a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients within their home setting.

Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a protected and comfortable environment
Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being




Monitor health status and report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed

Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, or working with seniors and individuals with disabilities is preferred
Solid caregiving skills with a focus on patient care and safety
Knowledge of dementia care an asset
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Compassionate attitude with patience and empathy for vulnerable populations
Basic cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic living space
Flexibility to adapt to various care needs and schedules

Pay: $29.00-$37.00 per hour
