An exciting chance exists at G&E; Contracting LP for a Construction Project Coordinator. This is a full time position based out of G&E;’s Langford yard in Victoria, with jobsites throughout the local area. The position reports to the Project Management team.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline
Two to three years of experience in hands-on construction or project administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job duties include the following:
Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day project requirements
Managing project documentation,



including contracts, change orders, RFIs and submittals
Issuing purchase orders and subcontracts as required
Creating, updating and maintaining project schedules
Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
Attending site and project meetings as required
Assisting with tendering and bid preparation
Tracking project costs, timelines and deliverables
Supporting general project administration and reporting
