Your Contribution
As an independent field monitor, you will conduct field activities that focus on placing remains of birds and bats at operating wind‑energy facilities. Responsibilities include learning visual species identification, applying scientific methods, collecting and analysing data with high attention to detail, and reporting to a Renewable Energy Project Manager or Field Coordinator.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain well‑organized, detailed field notes.
Communicate frequently with project managers, field staff, and clients as required.
Safely handle bird and bat carcasses.
Occasionally assist with related field or office tasks.
Your Education
Post‑secondary degree or diploma, or high‑school diploma or equivalent.
