Job SummaryTo accurately provide price and delivery for all our products to our customers in a timely and courteous fashion, utilizing organization and negotiating techniques, and applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders. Answer customer questions concerning products/ services and their purchase orders. Prepare miscellaneous reports and any contract maintenance needed in a timely and effective manner.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Respond to customer calls, faxes, and e-mailsGenerate and follow up on quotes for all productsProvide technical assistance to customersProcess sales ordersEnter return orders, credits, and debits when requiredEnter scrap return order as requested by distribution channelsImplement stocking programs by use of X-part numbers and/or Scheduling agreements when necessaryAssist Outside Sales in obtaining forecasts as needed by the customer for implemented stocking programsAccurately implement and maintain firm metal agreements. Track units used by customer on a regular basis while providing customer with updates.Orchestrate and implement the type of contract needed based on the specific type of business at hand while working collaboratively with Outside SalesManage customer specific inventories and report concerns to purchasing/ managementSatisfy customer service issuesContinuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and proceduresWork in team workplace, communicating as required with all personnel.Traveling as needed to meet company goalsMonitor competitor products and prices.Assist in quality related duties where requiredMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
