Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or a related agricultural setting is not required

A willingness to learn and an open mind to feedback

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and perform strenuous, repetitive tasks as needed

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements

List of Duties

Manage and motivate a team of 2 to 4 staff to complete sanitation activities in our grow rooms and supporting areas, while maintaining quality standards, under the guidance of the senior operations staff.

Train new staff on Meridian’s methods, providing constructive feedback when necessary to correct poor technique.

Accurately track operational performance utilizing Meridian’s data collection system.





Maintain a clean and sanitary working setting by performing regular cleaning and sanitation activities in all licensed production areas, non-production office areas.

Keeping a strict separation of clothes and shoes worn on-site from clothing worn outdoors. Laundry is performed on-site for site specific clothing.

Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with team members, ensuring tasks are completed and seeking direction when needed.

Strictly adhere to and enforce all regulatory requirements under the Cannabis Act and Regulations, as well as the company’s Standard Operating Procedures.

As Sanitation Lead, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of staff assigned to sanitation activities, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
