Allora Laser & Spa Ltd. is looking to hire 2 full-time permanent barbers.

Position Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a barber or hairstyling role

Wage: $24.00 per hour

Location: On-site work at the physical location in Surrey, British Columbia (no remote work)

Hair tattoos and braiding with extensions

All chemical jobs and men's hair colouring

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on beauty care treatments

Analyze hair and scalp condition

Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences

Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampoos, waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages

Shampoo customers’ hair





Shave and trim beards and mustaches

Apply bleach, tints, and color

Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair

Suggest hairstyles compatible with client's physical features and preferences

Conduct consultations with clients

Maintain and order supplies

Additional Experience / Skills

Hair tattoo and ability to replicate designs from pictures

Blow drying

Iron waving/curling

Chemical jobs

Extensions with braiding

Use of straight razors

Physical Requirements

Rapid-paced environment

Attention to detail

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Standing for extended periods
