Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess solid driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety standards. Prior experience with a clean driving record is a must.
Duties
Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or other loads to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of trips, loads, and vehicle maintenance records.
Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
Communicate effectively with team members and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Experience
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump truck operation.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics coordination.
Basic automotive repair knowledge beneficial for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Prior experience in construction, mining, or related industries is advantageous.
