Job description
The Trailer Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing trailers
Setup and repair of all types of air systems
Assemble and repair of all types and makes of suspensions and axles
General mechanical repairs such as brakes, pintle-hook assemblies
Structural repair and replacement of floors, walls, doors or roofs
Installation and repair of all types of electrical & hydraulic systems
Any other task related to the position may also be assigned
Aftermarket installing of lift gates

Qualifications and requirements
Licensed 310J, combined with (5) years of work experience,
Training as a mechanic OR more than three years' work experience in the mechanic's field (mechanic license considered an asset)
Strong diagnostics & repair skills




Ability to understand and apply the principles and techniques of trailer component assembly and to follow instructions
Good spatial reasoning skills
Ability to work alone and collaborate as a team
Ability to read drawings
Welding experience

Schedule
Full time, Monday to Friday

Compensation package
According to experience of; 31.56 to 40.99$/hour
