Job Description

We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Asset Protection Associate to help create a secure environment for customers, associates, and vendors. This role is critical in supporting store safety, reducing shrink, and protecting company assets.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and protect Walmart property, merchandise, and individuals within the store
Deter theft, fraud, and shrink through surveillance, investigation, and store patrols
Conduct daily checks of the store to ensure doors, fixtures, and equipment are secure
Respond to and manage security incidents,



including external arrests when necessary
Support evacuation procedures during emergencies
Conduct investigations related to internal theft, dishonesty, or organized retail crime
Collaborate with leadership and Global Ethics on assigned cases and security matters
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of incidents

Qualifications
Experience in security, asset protection, or loss prevention is an asset
License - Security Guard License
Robust observation, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly and professionally
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Adaptable availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The rate of pay for this position starts from $19.35. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
