We're Hiring – Licensed Hairstylist

Salon22Welland is looking for a talented, licensed hairstylist to join our growing team!

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and artistry
Engage with clients to understand their needs, offering professional recommendations tailored to their preferences and hair type
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and boost sales
Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening actively, and addressing client questions or concerns
Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education and training

Requirements




Valid Ontario cosmetology or hairstylist license required; must be licensed to perform professional hair services
Proven experience in hair styling with a robust portfolio of work showcasing versatility and creativity
Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired outcomes
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining genuine client relationships
Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and qualified demeanor
Prior experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
