Position Overview

This position requires someone to have strong organizational skills and a solid knowledge of construction with the ability to repair all aspects of a home. Customer service skills and communication skills are essential. Company vehicle provided.

Role & Responsibilities
Meet with homeowners at scheduled appointments for possession & warranty.
Fix and eliminate deficiency items before the final inspection and possession of the homes;
Assess construction deficiencies on 60 days and 1 year walk through and perform repairs in a timely manner;
Educate homeowners about homeowner maintenance;
Complete repairs such as drywall & taping fix, paint touch ups, interior finishing items, door adjustments, baseboard install, tile replacement, grout fill, silicone application, fix floor squeak, etc.;
Manage trade day with home owner and if other trades needed;




Obtaining homeowners signature on completed items;
Emergency/On Call duties to address situations such as of loss of power/heat or water leaks;

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Warranty Technician in recent home construction or Handyman with a service related background;
A comprehensive understanding of construction fundamentals and the construction process;
Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trade functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting etc.;
Robust customers service background;
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow;
Self-motivated with ability to work well independently and as a team;
Valid driver's license;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
