About the Role

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a key leadership role within our Health & Wellness Department by:
Providing safe, high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Assessing residents’ health needs and developing individualized plans of care.
Assigning, delegating, and evaluating the work of wellness staff.
Monitoring residents’ health status and responding appropriately to changes in condition.
Collaborating with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care.
Promoting a secure, respectful,



and resident-centered environment.
Supporting and mentoring care staff while fostering teamwork and professional excellence.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Previous experience working in a retirement residence, long-term care, or a similar setting is preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) is an asset.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to seniors.

Requirements Upon Hire

The successful applicant must provide:
A current two-step Tuberculosis (TB) test.
A satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
