Delta Water Products across British Columbia is actively looking for certified, fulltime, Drip and MicroSpray Irrigation Designers.

Position: Drip and MicroSpray Irrigation Designers Positions Available: 2

Location: Southern Okanagan (Penticton or Oliver), West Kelowna, Kamloops, Chilliwack.

Purpose: This position’s primary responsibilities are to create Drip and MicroSpray designs and provide take-offs of their corresponding materials lists to support our Ag Sales team for Vineyards, Orchards, and berry crops throughout BC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Using supplied Irricad software, create detailed drawings to facilitate creation and installation of the drip design.
GPS field mapping as required
Use Irricad software supplied by Delta for detail drawings and calculations
Create take-offs and material lists (BOMs) for quotes
Assist sales team with onsite visits of potential customers to view project sites.




Create presentations to assist customers understand designs and plans.
Assist our customer base with annual AIF govt Funding models

Competencies
Certification in Drip and MicroSpray within British Columbia.
Irrigation knowledge of components and system for commercial use.
Solid experience with computer software
Previous experience with an Irrigation software such as Irricad is an asset.
Experience in creating plans, map, and layout design.
Ability to identify areas for improvement and contribute to potential solutions
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Solid task orientated individual
Skilled communication skills and ability to speak effectively with clients.

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Okanagan, BC
