About Us
Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15‑minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.
Position Overview
As a Facilities Technician, you will be the hands‑on expert responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the company’s buildings. Your role involves performing various maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance duties. You will use practical skills to ensure our facilities are safe, fully operational, and visually appealing, providing a well‑maintained and efficient work environment.

Schedules
14h à 22h, 22h à 6h (must be available weekends)

Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, generators, ventilation, etc.
Handle everyday repairs and maintenance on site
Oversee contractors when skilled repairs or servicing is necessary
Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and correct them
Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
Work on both preventative and reactive maintenance
Move gaming machines and tables
Requirements
Bilingual French and English (an asset) and must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly as required
Proven experience in a similar role (maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, plastering and minor renovations)
Related degree from a technical college (an asset)
Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
High degree of competency using common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, etc.
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
Experience performing routine maintenance
Strong organizational and follow‑up skills, detail‑oriented
Professional presentation and attitude
Ability to maintain focus while working autonomously in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
Other considerations may be discussed: 24/7 availability, rotating shifts, overtime
