Protect pool users at the City of Laval as a Lifeguard this summer! This temporary position runs from July 7 to August 9, 2026, with day, evening, and weekend shifts available.

As a Lifeguard, your main responsibility will be the safety of all users at our aquatic facilities. This in-person role requires a valid National Lifeguard certificate and involves engaging in pool activities, assisting with maintenance, and ensuring that all safety regulations are consistently followed to provide a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and ensure safety for all pool guests
• Collaborate in pool activities organization
• Conduct maintenance and equipment checks
• Complete incident reports and alert management
• Administer first aid when necessary

Requirements:
• Valid National Lifeguard certification required
• Swimming Instructor certificate is desirable
• Lifeguard Instructor certificate is a plus
• Effective communication skills
• Flexibility to work diverse shifts
