Permanent Part‑Time Support Worker

Location: Barrie. Work hours: 7 shifts (up to 42 hours) bi‑weekly between 7 pm and 7 am, mandatory nights and overnight shifts.

Compensation & Perks

Minimum rate of pay: $24.63 per hour.

Qualifications

Developmental Service Worker diploma or an acceptable educational equivalence (Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Social Service Worker, Nursing, Psychology, Personal Support Worker, etc.).

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Must attend team meetings and training during daytime hours.





Valid class “G” driver’s licence and reliable transportation is an asset.

Must upload diplomas/degrees with length specified.

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities across all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.

Support individuals during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and financial management.

Assist individuals to appointments or community events to foster connections.
