Rutherflo Transportation Limited is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Bus Drivers to join our family run, community-oriented company for routes encompassing Northumberland County.

Applicants must have
Valid Class B licence
Clean Driver abstract
Vulnerable Sector Check less than one year old which is required by M.T.O
First Aid Class 3 (First Aid Training is available)

We offer competitive pay based on individual routes in addition to school charter opportunities.

Responsibilities
Safely operate buses following all traffic laws and company policies
Transport passengers along scheduled routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures




Maintain a clean and safe vehicle setting by performing routine inspections and basic mechanical checks
Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address concerns
Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance needs
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, helpful, and professional at all times

Skills
Experience working with children is preferred; patience and empathy are essential
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members
Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle operation is advantageous
Excellent driving record with a valid class B Licence
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
Valuable organizational skills for maintaining schedules and documentation
