Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook dishes consistently and efficiently during service hours
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management

Skills




Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
Robust knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills
Familiarity with the food industry, including kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Serving experience is a plus, along with previous restaurant or kitchen experience
Knowledge of the principles of food service, including customer interaction when necessary
