Western Canoe Kayak is Western Canada's Premier Paddle Sports Retailer and the Manufacturing home of Clipper Canoes. We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Abbotsford BC.

We need a hardworking skilled who does not mind working in hot or cold weather conditions and be on their feet all day. We prize attention to detail, and above all else, a desire to deliver world class customer service assisting clients with loading and unloading of their canoe/kayaks. We require a Warehouse Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, and can take direction to complete tasks, which include:
Pick merchandise from the warehouse and transport it to the shipping bay
Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise
Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
Prep Containers for Shipments to various dealers




Count containers to determine appropriate contents via Check in Procedures
Maintain presentation of boat storage facility for Customer Access
Starting wage is negotiable based on previous experience, driving with a trailer, forklift certification, mechanical repair skills and welding experience

Skills and Other Requirements
Available to work on Saturdays
Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
High school diploma preferred
Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
Current forklift certification a plus but not required

Job Type: Full time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
