We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Collections Clerk to join our team. The A/R - Collections person will be responsible for maintaining various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and monitoring aged trial balance reports.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in recent accounting software - including experienced month end, journal entries, accounting ledgers and A/P assistance routines.
CPA or similar college accreditation will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate and current financial receivable records, including some receivable accounts payable
Review aged invoices to clients - collections required
Collaborate with other team members to provide financial information and support as needed
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with basic accounting concepts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with account reconciliation procedures
