JOB TITLE Production Area Manager

(Full Time Salary)

REPORTS TO Store / Owner Manager

Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of the Store.
Thoroughly understand store / department vision to articulate and communicate to staff.
Contributes to achieving sales and profit objectives by executing merchandising plans, managing inventory levels, checking invoices for receipt and correct costing & utilizing effective tool usage (CAO, FIM, WFM)
Manages store staff by assisting hiring, providing clear direction, reviewing performance, providing timely feedback.
Ensures customer service standards by managing product quality and variety, maintaining department appearance, greeting customers and responding to their needs, concerns, inquiries, as well resolving issues and complaints.
Ensures compliance with government legislation and company standards including food safety & OHS directives.
Perform Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Required Skills & Abilities:
Great customer service skills




Excellent communication and people skills.
Ability to lead, management and develop a team of 100 or more employees
Ability to read, understand and positively effect period financial results.
Basic computer skills ( knowledge is an asset)
Ability to multi task and work effectively in a fast paced setting.
Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Effective problem solving skill
Experience with Sobeys policy and programs is REQUIRED
