UPI Staffing is hiring Direct Support Specialists and Personal Support Workers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in group home settings.

What We Offer

Responsibilities

Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
Assist with activities of daily living
Support residents with life skills, routines, and community activities




Assist with appointments and outings when needed
Support behaviour management plans
Administer medications as required
Prepare meals and complete light housekeeping duties
Document daily care and support provided
Work as part of a team to provide protected, respectful, and reliable care

Qualifications
Must have one of the following: DSW, SSW, CSW, or PSW Diploma
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
CPR and First Aid certification
Safe Management / CPI certification, or willingness to obtain
Valid G-class driver’s licence
Reliable vehicle
Updated police check with vulnerable sector search
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
Experience with behavioural support is considered an asset
