The pipelayer will report directly to the foreman and will be responsible for the layout and installation of water/ sewer main, and concrete structures for both reconstruction and current construction projects.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Install sanitary sewer and watermain piping systems as well as concrete structures
Be able to read and understand blueprints
Prepare pipe routes and coordinate layout
Be able to accurately set up a grade laser and carry the desired grade
Cut pipes to required lengths
Use hand tools to prepare trench and operate a trench tamper
Perform all other construction laboring duties when required
