Unity Diagnostic Centre (UDC) is a fully licensed medical imaging clinic in Brampton offering X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Cardiac Imaging.
We are currently seeking an Obstetric Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN Focus) to join our growing ultrasound department. The ideal candidate is confident, patient-focused, and skilled in performing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic scans independently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams including dating, NT, anatomy, growth, and BPP scans
Conduct pelvic, transvaginal, and prenatal studies following CMRITO and CPSO standards
Ensure patient comfort and clearly explain procedures
Capture accurate diagnostic images and maintain quality control
Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for timely, clear results
Maintain documentation and ensure proper infection control and privacy compliance
Support general ultrasound cases as needed (abdomen, small parts)
Qualifications
Registered and in positive standing with CMRITO
ARDMS or Sonography Canada certification required
Minimum 1 year of obstetric or general ultrasound experience preferred
Solid understanding of fetal anatomy and scanning protocols
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Current CPR certification (asset)
