CONTEMPORARY WELDING LTD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and the protected operation of related equipment. The Welder will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, supporting construction, ductwork, and manufacturing projects across diverse industries.

Duties/Qualifications
Good communication skills.
Positive attitude.
2nd Year, 3rd Year or Journeyman Required
Shop repair work and fabrication, heavy equipment repairs and modification experience preferred.
Mobile rig welding and mobile field service jobs
Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.
Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques with a strong focus on quality workmanship
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, machinery operation, and assembly techniques
Experience with hand tools, power tools,



and schematics reading
Ability to interpret blueprints accurately for fabrication and assembly tasks
Familiarity with machining operations using calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and schematics comprehension
Understanding of construction standards and ductwork fabrication processes
Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
