Wage: $23.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Daytime and evening shifts to meet client needs).
Location: Nanaimo, BC.

What You’ll Do
Empower & Coach: Provide 1-to-1 and small group support to children, youth, and adults, focusing on social skills and behavioral stabilization.
Navigate & Advocate:



Connect families to vital community resources and act as a fierce advocate for their best interests.
Plan & Implement: Design evidence-based goal plans tailored to each client’s unique strengths and needs.
Support in Crisis: Recognize and de-escalate crisis situations with empathy and professional strategy.
Collaborate: Work closely with the Integrated Child, Youth, and Family Services team to ensure "person-centered" care.

What You Bring
Education: A degree in Social/Human Services (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).
Certifications: Valid First Aid/CPR (CCFL approved) and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
The Essentials: You have a safe, reliable vehicle and are comfortable transporting clients. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can work independently when the pressure is on.
Experience: At least 1 year in a similar social services environment; experience with crisis intervention is a major asset
