Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor Inspection & Service, the Fire Alarm Technician will be part of a close-knit team of experienced specialists and ensures the inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.

Key responsibilities include:
Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems
Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection
Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner
Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis

Success Factors
Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist or other relevant training
3 years of experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems
Robust customer service skills
Ability to work well independently
Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S536
Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset)
CFAA certification (an asset)
Valid driver’s license
