Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine and PowerSport Technician to join our team and use their knowledge to build a future with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience with marine and PowerSports systems. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of marine vessels and equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to work alongside other technicians throughout the day.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine and powersport engines, Kioti tractors, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
Diagnose issues with marine, compact tractors and powersport equipment using appropriate testing methods and tools.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with service advisor regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technician or similar role in the compact tractor/marine industry.
Solid mechanical knowledge related to marine or powersport systems and equipment.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
