Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Take x-rays
Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients and education regarding treatments
Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
Assist with dental lab work as needed
Perform basic dental procedures, such as applying sealants and fluoride treatments

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with dental software, such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design)




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
