The Maintenance

Assistant will help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning setting for our residents, visitors, and staff. If you have strong hands-on skills, take pride in your work, and enjoy keeping a facility running smoothly, we would love to hear from you!

Position Details Position: Maintenance Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Mission Valley Post Acute Hourly Wage: $18.05–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience What You'll Do Assist with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.

Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair tasks.

Assist with maintaining resident rooms, common areas, offices, and outdoor areas.

Inspect equipment, fixtures, and facility areas and report maintenance concerns promptly.

Help ensure the building, grounds, and equipment are safe and properly maintained.

Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.

Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled inspections.

Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies in an organized manner.

Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Support compliance with facility safety, fire, and emergency preparedness requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Work closely with the Maintenance Director and facility leadership.

Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.





Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Skilled nursing, healthcare, apartment, hotel, commercial, or building maintenance experience is a plus.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs preferred.

Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as required.

Commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable setting for residents.
