What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Director, Credit Risk Infrastructure, the Manager, Analytics Engineer will develop analytical and data infrastructures to support RBC’s stress testing (CCAR, EWST, MST) and credit provisioning (CECL, IFRS9) programs. What will you do?
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to support stress testing and credit provisioning programs
Develop and maintain data warehouse that store credit risk data and model outputs that support credit provisioning and stress testing programs
Develop and maintain downstream modules that are used across stress testing and provisioning programs.
Create and maintain technical documentations on different modules delivered to support the programs
Provide analytical support for downstream users to ensure compliance Must Have:
0-2 years of relevant work experience
University degree in quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Math, or Computer Science.
Working knowledge with Python, SQL
Working knowledge with version control systems, particularly Git
Robust analytical, problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
Self-starter with a curious mind to challenge and question the status quo
Nice-to-Have:
Proven work experience using Python, SQL, Git
Experience working with big data solutions such as Spark, Trino
Prior experience in managing credit risk
Familiarity with SAS
