Embrace a rewarding experience at the Quatsino Early Years Centre as a Fixed Term Early Childhood Educator Assistant. This position focuses on supporting developmentally appropriate learning in a safe environment.

From July 2023 to March 2024, you will serve as a Responsible Adult Educator, assisting in daily childcare routines and engaging activities for children. Your responsibilities include fostering inclusive interactions and promoting healthy development through play and creative experiences. Collaborating with the Early Years team, you'll ensure energetic programming infused with Quatsino culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver age-appropriate learning experiences daily
• Assist in outdoor play and supervise children during activities




• Prepare snacks and keep the childcare space organized
• Build relationships with families and community partners
• Participate in professional development for continuous improvement

Requirements:
• High school completion or equivalent
• Relevant experience (at least 3 months) with kids
• Knowledge of BC Early Learning Framework as an asset
• First Aid and CPR Certification required
• Class 5 Driver's Licence and Food Safe Certificate valued
