Support the lunch initiatives at Rocky Mountain School District #6 as a School Lunch Program Aide in the Windermere Zone. Manage lunch services that meet nutritional needs while engaging with the community.
As a Lunch Program Aide, you will work independently to maintain the smooth operation of the lunch program. Duties include menu planning, ordering catered food, managing volunteers, and ensuring compliance with health standards. You will report on service effectiveness to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop weekly healthy menus for students
• Order and manage lunch program food supplies
• Oversee cash handling and volunteer activities
• Ensure compliance with cleaning and recycling protocols
• Train and supervise student volunteers effectively
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food Safe Certification is mandatory
• Previous food service and bookkeeping experience preferred
• Knowledge in nutrition and secure food handling
• Excellent organizational skills for menu evaluation
