Become a Temporary Cook with Umbrella Family and impact children's nutrition daily. This full-time role in Dundas focuses on preparing healthy meals and maintaining kitchen safety.

This position offers 30 hours per week from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. You will prepare snacks and meals for children, adhere to Canada's Food Guide, and support daily center operations. Your culinary skills will directly contribute to the well-being and enjoyment of the children, all within a cooperative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for children
• Collaborate on creating menus with the Cook Committee
• Follow pre-planned menus based on food guidelines




• Check allergy and dietary restrictions for meal adjustments
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dishes throughout the day

Requirements:
• Previous food preparation experience an asset
• Knowledge of food safety and Canada's Food Guide
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
