Junior Test Engineer Position on the Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.
Role The Junior test engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop state‑of‑the‑art test stations that automate the production of geostationary or constellation antennas. The engineer will be part of a specialized test team, ensuring that once in orbit, antenna performance meets customer requirements and delivers the required communications service for the mission.
Duties And Responsibilities Interface with the design team
Analyze test requirements
Define test methods and techniques
Define test and test data processing resources
Draft test plans, procedures and reports
Develop software applications and automated RF test and measurement procedures
Code and validate test sequences
Provide test follow‑up and operations support in the following specializations: RF in PIM, Nearfield or Compact Test Range
RF in Active Electronics, Burn‑In
Power in Electronic Power Converters
Metrology in flight unit alignment
Mechanics for thermal testing

Plan and coordinate testing activities and team operations with technicians
Minimum Qualifications Required BSc. or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics




Background in electromagnetics or microwaves with strong programming skills
0–2 years of relevant experience
Motivated individual with initiative, teamwork, and a desire to improve test techniques
Fluency in French (oral and written)
Comments/Special Considerations Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the Reliability Status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
