The Accessory Engineering Coordinator supports the engineering team in the design, development, validation, and implementation of aircraft engine tooling and maintenance solutions. This role combines technical design, research and development, project coordination, and documentation to advance new capabilities, improve maintenance processes, and ensure tooling meets operational and quality standards.
Tasks
Assist engineers with tooling development by creating CAD models, procuring machining drawings and rapid prototyping.
Verify functionality of tooling and prepare tooling validation documents for custom made tooling.
Identify equivalencies for test consumables by conducting studies and procuring equivalency reports.
Assist engineers with research and development of current capabilities by reading maintenance manuals and analyzing process requirements
Project managing sub tasks by ensuring deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
Currently pursing or recently completed a engineering degree
Knowledge and experience with 3D CAD software (NX Siemens, Solidworks, Fusion 360).
Ability to effectively communicate among both team members and cross departmental personnel.
Good organization and documentational skills.
Experience with additive manufacturing is an asset.
Experience with electro-mechanical systems is an asset.
Experience with machining design is an asset.
