Overview Your Future Role On Our Team: As a member of our Mechanical and Piping Engineering team, you’ll assist with studies for major projects in the mining, energy and heavy industry sectors. You’ll be based at our Toronto office, but you may be required to take short trips to our other offices. Responsibilities Participate in preparing plans and specifications based on guidelines Under supervision, carry out the 3D design of piping, equipment and mechanical layouts for all components Work with point clouds (3D scanning) Coordinate equipment layout with other disciplines, such as Structural Engineering Produce isometric drawings of pipelines Produce 2D drawings of equipment developed in design and general layouts Prepare 2D drawings with full detailing (dimensions, labels, text and notes) Participate in technical site surveys Ensure the quality of deliverables produced Qualities and Values Results-driven Thirst to learn and excel Willingness to work together while having fun Constantly seeking sustainable and agile solutions Ability to see beyond established standards Rigour and ethical Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements College diploma in mechanical engineering technology From 0 to 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician Available for short-term work assignments outside the office Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks & NavisWorks Asset: Knowledge of CADWorx and SmartPlant 3D Asset: Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec Asset: Spanish proficiency Asset:
