As the business transitions into a dual-mine producer while completing a major acquisition, this role plays a key part in building the financial reporting foundation to support that growth. This position sits at the center of the corporate finance function, helping translate complex, cross-border operations into explicit and accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will contribute directly to consolidation, external reporting, and M&A integration while strengthening coordination between corporate headquarters and field operations.ResponsibilitiesLead consolidation of corporate and subsidiary financial resultsPrepare initial drafts of financial statements and MD&A for leadership reviewSupport external reporting and disclosure requirementsEnsure accuracy and timeliness of financial data from operationsProvide technical accounting guidance across the organizationSupport acquisition accounting,



including purchase price allocation and integration activitiesPartner with operations finance teams to ensure proper accounting treatmentLead the corporate budgeting process and maintain forecastsDeliver budget-to-actual analysis and variance reportingAssist with corporate tax filings and cross-border tax planning initiativesSupport treasury activities including cash management and capital planningOversee corporate accounting processes at a supervisory levelStrengthen internal controls and ensure compliance across operationsAct as the primary liaison between corporate and operations finance teamsSupervise and support one direct report in accounts payableRequirementsCPA designation or equivalent3 to 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experienceMining industry experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accountingExperience working in lean teams with hands‑on responsibilityAbility to prepare clear, accurate financial disclosures and reportsExposure to M&A accounting is an assetFamiliarity with cross-border operations or tax structures is an assetSpanish language skills are beneficial but not requiredStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsRemunerationCompetitive salary with benefits, including:Base salary of approximately $120,000, depending on experienceAnnual bonus target of 15 to 20 percentOnly candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
