We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead Hand / Team Lead to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with warehouse and forklift experience who enjoys coaching teams, improving processes, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Schedule
Monday to Friday
Day Shift - 8 am to 4.30 pm

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the Distribution Supervisor.
Supervise warehouse associates to ensure accurate shipping and receiving operations.
Investigate shipping and receiving issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy.
Train and mentor current and existing warehouse employees.
Conduct new hire forklift evaluations to ensure safe equipment operation.
Assist with employee performance evaluations and provide recommendations on hiring and disciplinary matters.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and company procedures.
Perform regular inspections of warehouse equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Operate a forklift and provide hands-on support during busy periods.




Provide backup support to the Distribution Supervisor when required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and workflow.
Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead Hand, Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
Robust knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Valid forklift licence with practical operating experience.
Experience training and mentoring warehouse employees.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (an asset).
Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
